Final Year Project • AI + Full-Stack Health Tech
Corneal Ulcer Monitoring App
Built an AI-assisted university project for analysing slit-lamp photographs, measuring corneal ulcers and tracking progression over time.
- Built dual-modality segmentation for fluorescein and white-light images
- Added calibrated measurements, longitudinal tracking, audit logging and privacy-first storage
- Migrated the prototype from Streamlit to React + FastAPI
- Developed the work with clinical guidance from a consultant ophthalmologist
Impact: Delivered a proof-of-concept application with a 0.706 mean Dice score on a held-out fluorescein segmentation test set.
Robotics + AI
Object Detection Model on Spot Robot
Built a robotics workflow that combined object detection with voice-triggered interaction on the Spot robot.
- Developed the detection model and supported end-to-end system design and testing
- Integrated spoken keyword recognition to trigger object detection behaviour
- Helped ensure smooth interaction between voice input, detection output and robotic movement
Impact: Achieved 74% mAP across multiple IoU thresholds.
Full-Stack Product
UoBuy Student Marketplace
Built a full-stack student marketplace with listings, chat, orders and accessibility features.
- Led the review entity work including CRUD operations and reporting workflows
- Integrated reviews securely with product and order components

Emotion AI - Facial Keypoint Detection
Built a CNN to identify facial landmarks across varied image conditions.
- Detected landmarks including eyes, nose and lips for advanced facial analysis

Developed the Spring Boot backend for a shared grocery cart system for student households.
